Our Story
Jordan Vellutini completed his electrical apprenticeship in 2009, three years later he started Westline Electrical. He had a dream — to raise the bar of electrical services in Perth.
He had seen too many electricians turn up late, take shortcuts and hit clients with “hidden” fees. Jordan wanted to create a company that would operate differently to most other electrical contracting companies. A company that would be about integrity, reliability and top quality workmanship.
Westline was born to change the perception of the electrical contractor and to provide a great experience for all our clients.
Our Reputation
In the early years of Westline we primarily serviced residential electrical services in Perth. This included but was not limited to, residential switchboard upgrades, residential safety switch installations, residential fault finding and residential general maintenance.
It was just as important how we did the job as it was the job itself. We committed to being on time, to communicate with each client before we started the job, to price each job openly and transparently, to work to the highest possible standards (Australian) and to leave each client’s premises clean at the end of the job. This was our standard. Not the exception.
As the business grew Jordan’s wife Melissa left her career in finance to work full time with Jordan at Westline. She handled all the admin duties including payroll for the business. Together they worked hard to build Westline into a family owned business servicing Perth that was known for providing professional and reliable service to every client.
Westline has a long standing commitment to the community. In addition to a 10% pensioner discount for electrical repairs and safety upgrades, Westline offers an after hours emergency service for those with urgent electrical issues.
Our Growth
As more and more of our clients started to share their positive experiences with others and recommend Westline to their friends, family and colleagues, Westline grew steadily through 2015. Customer reviews played a big part in this growth. As more and more of our clients reviewed Westline on various independent review websites that rate both customer service and businesses, the business received more and more recognition from these organisations.As a result of the increased demand for our services Westline grew and we employed more staff. We hired more licensed electricians and apprentices. We also expanded our services into commercial electrical maintenance to real estate agencies, strata managers and hospitality venues throughout Western Australia.
We maintained the same standards for every job.
Our Awards
In 2023 Westline reached a major milestone. We were awarded WA Residential Electrical Contractor of the Year by NECA.
This was recognition of years of consistent delivery of high quality workmanship, compliance and customer care.
Over the next few years we received more awards. We received multiple Master Electricians awards in both residential and commercial categories. We received multiple NECA awards and were national finalists in several competitions.
Each of these awards is a result of the effort we put in to maintain high levels of performance. Not a single achievement.
Our Future
Today Westline completes over 1,500 electrical maintenance jobs in Perth each year. We service residential, commercial, real estate and strata clients.
Since 2009 Westline has completed over 15,000 jobs.
While we continue to grow our focus remains the same. Westline is about reliable service, safe electrical work and building long term relationships with our clients based on trust.
